Position: IT Support Analyst

Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15213 **on-site 5 days per week**
Will sit at one of the following locations but is subject to change.

- Salk (Oakland)

- Scaif (Oakland)

- Heiber (Oakland)

- Bridge side (South Oakland)

- Assembly Building (Shadyside)

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Hours: 40 hours per week. Eight-hour Shift between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, M-F

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination: Required

Requirements:

• Associates Degree and minimum 4 years IT Support experience OR
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of professional IT Support Experience
• Phone support experience – high call volume
• Experience remoting into devices to fix issues.
• Previous IT Support experience in both hardware and software troubleshooting

Day to Day:

The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for tasks related to the maintenance and development of the company’s computing systems, networks, services, and resources over the phone and by deskside response. They will be functioning as the technical support specialist that will be involved in the daily support of the business as well as interacting with the user community and other team members within the organization. Support users and resources of the MAC and PC Hardware and software environment to ensure effective use of resources and user productivity and satisfaction.

• Provide technical support onsite and over the phone for internal end-users/customers.
• Software and network issues on laptops and desktops
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with software and printers.
• Create and manage tickets.
• Provides expert-level support for a wide range of technical resources including hardware, software, network, operating systems, security updates, secure Virtual Private Network implementation, network storage systems, printing, and end user applications.
• Responsible for coordinating, managing, updating, deploying operating systems and applications via enterprise systems including Microsoft Endpoint Manager, JAMF and Google Admin Console.
• Gathers business requirements, evaluate technical requirements.
• Creates and maintains user centric technology help documentation.
• Configures computer equipment, peripherals, and software to function correctly in university environment.
• Engages with faculty and staff to understand their activities to better help them integrate computing and technology with the goal of enhancing and supporting their daily operations, curriculum, and research.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
